GP Reader NT is an automated instrument for the quantitative determination of various analytes in human samples, such as whole blood, plasma or fecal samples, by measuring fluorescence signals from lateral flow test cassettes.
GP Reader NT is intended for use with compatible fluorimetric lateral flow immunoassay (FLFIA) test kits, such as GastroPanel® quick test NT (REF 602410 and REF 602420), as an aid in the diagnosis, screening, or monitoring of medical conditions, as specifically defined, along with the characteristics of the testing population, required specimen, and detected analyte, in the intended purpose of the individual test kit it is used with.
GP Reader NT is intended to be used by healthcare professionals, either in a laboratory or near-patient setting. For in vitro diagnostic use.
The instrument is controlled through the intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) of the GP Reader NT application on a 10” touchscreen display. Single and multi-strip Europium-based lateral flow test cassettes can be measured when inserted into one of the two slots of the automated tray.
The reader has two 2D barcode readers, internal and external, so the Lot-specific settings (Lot number, calibration curves, expiry date, etc.) of each test can be read from a QR code, either directly from the test cassette surface or externally from the kit box.
The fluorescence intensities from the test strips are converted to concentration values of markers or analytes and the results are displayed on the screen and automatically stored in the instrument’s memory. The results and session details of each test performed can be easily printed on a paper with the featured thermal printer or exported to USB storage devices or a connected laboratory information system (LIS).
